Sailing through the trees


I sketched this scene out front of our cabin at our annual family trip to camp on Portage Lake in Onekama, Michigan a few weeks ago. I just finished this in the studio with photos I took as reference. Summer in Michigan is a beautiful thing.

Interesting to me, David, how one jounnals through writing and another by painting. Keep your work coming. It is refreshing both to see and experience it and remember all I owe to you as a person so committed to our common work. Alyce joins in sending our best wishes.
