Here’s another one of my favorite Michigan subjects, a big white pine by the shore. A studio version of a spot I have painted en plein air several times. Good Harbor bay, between Glen Arbor and Leland, has a beautiful, couple-mile-long, crescent beach that I have been at completely alone many times.
This is headed up to Arbor Gallery in Glen Arbor, Michigan.

Spring-break plein air
I have been working on a lot of studio pieces lately in preparation for the coming gallery season in Michigan. But last week was spring-break in Florida where I did a lot of relaxing and one plein air sketch.
